The rules in our country are rigged against working people to benefit Wall Street and corporations. Sears was once our country’s largest retail company, but billionaire Eddie Lampert bought and merged Sears and Kmart in 2005 and used it as his personal piggy bank. He gave $6 billion back to shareholders, took away Sears’ most profitable assets for his own gain, closed down thousands of stores, destroyed more than 250,000 jobs, and forced tens of thousands of working families into financial harm.

Financial Assistance Fund

Sears and Kmart families are calling on Lampert to create a fund for those of us who lost their jobs.

Corporate Board Representation

We are calling for employees to sit on Sears’ corporate board so we can rein in corporate executives.

New laws & policies

We need policymakers to intervene and stop the jobs crisis in retail.
